Differences in eggs based on age of hen

The flock of Black Australorps has started to lay!!  They are 18 weeks old and finally are starting to drop some eggs.  This is about on schedule and wanted to share the differences between ages.  The eggs on the left are the from the Australorps as they test out certain organs for the first time.  The eggs in the middle are from 9 month old Black Australorps as they are now in full swing for the summer.  The eggs on the right are from our steady laying Rhode Island Reds.  In their third year they are dropping exclusively jumbos.    We are behind in building the nest boxes so seeing these eggs on the left lit a fire.  Hopefully the bent hoops will be in early this week!
